Soy Diego Rivera, un hijo nativo de Tucson y un miembro orgulloso de la Nación Pasqua Yaqui, graduado de la escuela secundaria de Tucson. Soy padre de 3 hijos y siempre soñé con dejar un legado a mis hijos asegurándome de mostrarles el valor de la comunidad y el trabajo duro. Estoy emocionado de traer mi nueva empresa POP Threadz de Tucson.
He estado en la industria de la cultura pop durante más de 20 años y sentí que faltaba algo de esto y ropa vintage en el mercado de Tucson. La mayoría de las tiendas y eventos de cultura pop se encuentran fuera del mercado de Tucson. Por eso creé POP Threadz, un colectivo de ropa, establecido en agosto de 2022.
Siempre ha sido una idea desde la propiedad de Buena Vida. He sido extremadamente bendecido de haber tenido múltiples empresas como mi bar llamado Diego’s Tapas & Tequila y Buena Vida Restaurant.
POP Studios
Estos me han preparado para usar mis habilidades en esta nueva aventura de POP Threadz. Con la creación de POP Threadz, queríamos ampliar la plataforma multimedia para incluir lo que ahora es POP Studios.
POP Studios permite a las empresas locales, personas influyentes, entusiastas de los podcasts y podcasters establecidos, que pueden estar transmitiendo desde su hogar y que buscan llevar su podcast a un entorno profesional. El estudio multimedia se está convirtiendo en una parada única para todas sus necesidades de redes sociales.
POP Threadz
Estaba interesado en crear un podcast de mercado pop y ahí comenzó la idea de POP Studios. Al construir el estudio para publicitar y promocionar mi marca POP Threadz, también quería compartir mis esfuerzos con amigos cercanos que ya habían iniciado podcasts desde sus hogares. POP Studio ha sido una bendición disfrazada, no anticipé las oportunidades y los comentarios positivos de la comunidad.
Nuestra alineación actualmente tiene 4 shows de tiempo completo y cuatro shows más en la planificación. Nuestro ingeniero de producción Chris Kidney aporta más de 20 años de experiencia en servicios de DJ, marketing y planificación de eventos.
Chris acompaña a cada cliente desde la preproducción hasta la postproducción, diseñando fondos y mostrando gráficos según sus especificaciones. Actualmente tenemos disponibilidad de futuros podcasters que están listos para estar frente a la cámara.

Serigrafía especializada
En el edificio POP Threadz albergamos ropa de vinilo y serigrafía, vintage y cultura pop. La mayoría de la mercancía se vende en el espacio de comercio electrónico, de boca en boca y en las redes sociales. POP Threadz hace serigrafía especializada y prensa térmica de vinilo.
Chris Hack tiene más de 10 años en el negocio, como propietario de Rock Star Wrestling Alliance donde diseña, crea y monta cuadriláteros de lucha libre. Al respaldar su negocio, ha perfeccionado sus habilidades y ahora se ha convertido en el experto en vinilo de nuestra casa.
Nuestros servicios de vinilo incluyen calcomanías, adhesivos, vinilos de transferencia de calor, imanes y letreros. Eric Pedrego, socio de POP Threadz, nativo de Tucson y maestro serigrafista, aporta más de 15 años de experiencia, que ofrece servicios de primer nivel, especializándose en equipos deportivos, escuelas y negocios locales. Nuestro pedido mínimo es de 20 camisas.
Videografía
Próximamente presentaremos videografía a los clientes para ayudar a expandir su negocio en sus plataformas de redes sociales con TikTok, Facebook Live y comerciales. Mi objetivo con POP Threadz es ofrecer servicios a pequeñas empresas y herramientas comerciales establecidas para expandir su huella multimedia y desarrollo de marca. Como todos hemos aprendido a hacer la transición debido a la pandemia, la mayoría de las empresas se están mudando a la plataforma de comercio electrónico.

I am Diego Rivera, a Tucson Native Son, and a proud member of the Pasqua Yaqui Nation, Graduate of Tucson High School. I am a father of 3 and have always dreamt of leaving a legacy to my children by ensuring that I show my kids the value of community and hard work. I am excited to bring my newest venture POP Threadz to Tucson.
I have been in the pop culture industry for over 20 plus years and felt there was a lack in the Tucson Market for pop culture and vintage clothing. Most pop culture stores and events are located outside of the Tucson market. Which is why I created POP Threadz a clothing collective, established in August of 2022.
It has always been an idea since ownership of Buena Vida. I have been extremely blessed to have had multiple ventures like my bar named Diego’s Tapas and Tequila, and Buena Vida Restaurant.
POP Studios
These have prepared me to use my skills in this new POP Threadz venture. With creation of POP Threadz, we wanted to extend the multimedia platform to include what is now POP Studios. POP Studios allows local businesses, influencers, podcast enthusiasts and established podcasters, that may be streaming from their home and are looking to bring their pod cast to a professional environment. The multimedia studio is becoming a one stop for all your social media needs.
POP Threadz
I was interested in creating a pop market podcast and that is where the idea began for POP Studios. In building the studio to advertise and promote my POP Threadz brand, I also wanted to share my endeavors with close friends that have already started podcasts from their homes. POP Studio has been a blessing in disguise, I did not anticipate the opportunities and positive feedback from the community.
Our lineup currently has 4 full times shows and four more shows in the planning. Our production engineer Chris Kidney brings over 20 years’ experience with DJ services, marketing, and event planning.
Chris walks each client from pre-production to postproduction designing backgrounds and show graphics to your specifications. We currently have availability of future podcasters who are ready to be in front of the camera.

Screen printing
In the POP Threadz building we house vinyl and screen printing, vintage, and pop culture clothing. Most merchandise is sold in the ecommerce space, word of mouth and social media. POP Threadz does specialty screen printing, and vinyl heat press.
Chris Hack has over 10 years in business, as the owner of Rock Star Wrestling Alliance. where he designs, creates, and sets up wrestling rings. In supporting his business he has sharpened his skills and has now become our house Vinyl expert.
Our vinyl services include decals, stickers, heat transfer vinyl, magnets and signs. Eric Pedrego, POP Threadz partner, a Tucson native, and master screen printer, brings over 15 years’ experience, that offers top tier services, specializing in sports teams, schools, and local businesses. Our minimum shirt order requirement is 20 shirts.
Videography
Coming soon we will be introducing videography to clients to help expand their business on their social media platforms with TikTok, Facebook lives, and commercials. My goal with POP Threadz is to offer services to small businesses, and established businesses tools to expand their multimedia footprint and brand development. As we all have learned to transition due to the pandemic most businesses are moving to the ecommerce platform.
