Rio Rico, Az.- Los Astros necesitaban ganar y que Los Rangers de Texas, perdieran, para poder decidir en el ultimo juego de la temporada regular, el título de la division Oeste de la Liga Americana.
Houston hizo lo suyo y derrotaron el Domingo 8-1 a los Diamondbacks de Arizona, con tremenda actuacion monticular de su pitcher Cristian Javier y el jonrón de dos carreras de Alex Bregman. Con esto consiguieron su sexto titulo divisional en siete años.
Los actuales Campeones del mejor beisbol del mundo,Los Astros de Houston, con esto dicen presente nuevamente a la postemporada, despues de una cerrada carrera divisional entre los equipos de Seattle y Texas, dando su golpe de autoridad en esa division, que ahora los pone en posicion de poder defender y porque no decirlo, repetir de nuevo su titulo de Serie Mundial de Las Grandes Ligas.
