Rio Rico, Az.- El Sabado por la Noche en el juego entre Utep y la Universidad de Arizona, no solo festejamos la victoria de los Gatos salvajes con un marcador de 31-10, en el Futbol Americano colegial, si no que tambien celebramos el mes de la Herencia Hispana.
Del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre celebramos en los Estados Unidos el Mes de la Herencia Hispana o Mes de la Hispanidad. Es una celebración sumamente importante, ya que se evocan los logros, aportes y contribuciones de nuestra presencia en este país así como las primeras exploraciones de los españoles en el territorio de los Estados Unidos.

Ahora los Estados Unidos celebran la cultura y las tradiciones de los residentes en este país con raíces en España, México y los países de habla hispana de Centroamérica, Sudamérica y el Caribe, Para rendir honores a los logros de los latinos e hispanos en los Estados Unidos.
