Del Sol Research Management es una empresa de investigación clínica, cuya misión es brindar al público nuevas terapias de vanguardia que puedan ayudar a tratar o a curar enfermedades en un entorno agradable, con una filosofía principal, servir adecuadamente a los clientes (pacientes, patrocinadores, médicos y personal) y, en última instancia, contribuir al público.
A lo largo de los años, Del Sol se ha forjado una sólida reputación no sólo como proveedor de terapias innovadoras, sino también como miembro dedicado de las comunidades a las que brinda servicio, ofreciendo miles de Fibroscanografías gratuitas en todo Arizona. Es un orgullo para Del Sol, anunciar que, en los últimos dos años, ha ofrecido revisiones médicas gratuitas a muchas comunidades desfavorecidas por medio del «Programa de revisiones médicas gratuitas», que ofrece una diversidad de chequeos totalmente sin costo:

- Análisis de orina
- Signos Vitales
Además, Del Sol ha colaborado con clínicas locales que atienden a comunidades marginadas haciendo donaciones de medicamentos de manera mensual y trabajando con estas clínicas para atender y hacer seguimientos de los pacientes, que de otro modo no tendrían acceso a estos recursos. Todo esto sin necesidad de seguro y sin costo alguno. Además, Del Sol se ha asociado con universidades locales para seguir prestando servicios y revisiones para detección de enfermedades a la comunidad de manera gratuita. Así, en los últimos años, Del Sol no sólo ha contribuido a terapias y medicamentos de vanguardia a través de la investigación, sino que también ha sido un miembro activo de la comunidad retribuyendo constantemente.
Todo esto ha sido posible gracias a las fundadoras de la clinica Del Sol: María Gallegos —especialista en enlace con los pacientes, para seguimiento de tratamientos—, y Wendy Hotz —farmacéutica—. Ambas con amplia experiencia en el campo. María y Wendy tras varios años trabajando juntas, acumularon los conocimientos y la experiencia necesarios y decidieron abrir su propio centro de investigación con valores, visión y misión únicos: contribuir con nuevas terapias de vanguardia para pacientes en diversas áreas terapéuticas y maximizar sus contribuciones a los servicios de salud en la comunidad.
Del Sol se enorgullece de formar parte de esta comunidad y de contribuir en todo lo que le sea posible. La empresa sigue participando en actividades semanales de divulgación comunitaria, instalando stands y organizando actos educativos para ayudar a la gente a comprender la importancia de la investigación clínica y el papel que desempeñan en ella. De este modo, Del Sol sigue defendiendo los valores fundamentales y la misión establecidos por María y Wendy, como ha venido haciendo durante los últimos años.
Wendy es farmacéutica de formación y comenzó su carrera en Investigación y Desarrollo en Sudáfrica, trabajando para empresas farmacéuticas de la región. Emigró a Estados Unidos en 1993, y se incorporó a su primer centro de investigación en el país en 1995. Ascendió a vicepresidenta de manera muy rápida.
María, con más de 20 años de experiencia en investigación clínica, ha realizado la mayor parte de su formación en Administración de servicios médicos y Administración de Empresas. Su experiencia administrando de diversas operaciones comerciales de múltiples organizaciones especializadas en ensayos clínicos, le ha proporcionado los conocimientos y la experiencia en todas las áreas para seguir su clara misión en la atención al paciente.

Elvia es especialista en Investigación Clínica con 16 años de experiencia. Comenzó su carrera investigadora como Asistente de Investigación Clínica trabajando en diversas especialidades dentro de diferentes empresas de investigación. Después de adquirir los conocimientos necesarios, se convirtió en la directora de Investigación Clínica en Del Sol, supervisando la gestión exitosa de proyectos y proporcionando supervisión general, tutoría y formación a todo el personal de operaciones.

Del Sol Research Management is a clinical research company, whose mission is to provide the public with new cutting-edge therapies that could help treat or cure diseases in a friendly environment, with a primary philosophy of serving clients (patients, sponsors, doctors, and staff) appropriately and ultimately contributing to the public.
Over the years, Del Sol has built a strong reputation not only as a contributor of innovative therapies, but also as a dedicated member of the communities it serves, offering thousands of free Fibroscans throughout Arizona. In the past two years, it has proudly provided free health screenings to many underserved communities through the «Free Health Screening Program,» which offers patients a variety of checks at no cost:

Additionally, Del Sol has collaborated with local clinics serving marginalized communities by making monthly donations of medications and working with these clinics to care for and follow up with patients, who otherwise would not have access to these resources, without requiring insurance and at no cost. Furthermore, Del Sol has partnered with local universities to continue providing free health screening services to the community. Thus, over the past few years, Del Sol has not only contributed to cutting-edge therapies and medications through research but has also been an active community member consistently giving back.
This has all been possible thanks to the founders: Maria Gallegos —Patient engagement specialist—, and Wendy Hotz —pharmacist—; both of whom have extensive backgrounds in the field. After several years of working together, Maria and Wendy decided they had the knowledge and experience needed to open their own research site with unique values, vision, and mission: to contribute new cutting-edge therapies for patients in various therapeutic areas and to maximize their contributions to community health services.
Del Sol is proud to be a part of this community and contribute in every possible way. The company continues to engage in weekly community outreach activities, setting up booths and organizing educational events to help people understand the importance of clinical research and the role they play in it. By doing so, Del Sol continues to uphold the core values and mission established by Maria and Wendy, as they have been doing it for the past several years.
Wendy is a pharmacist and began her career in Research and Development in South Africa, working for pharmaceutical companies in the region. In 1993, she emigrated to the United States and, by 1995, became involved in her first research site in the country; quickly rising to the position of Vice President.
Maria, with over 20 years of experience in Clinical research, has done most of her education in Healthcare Management and Business Administration. Managing the Business Operations for multiple organizations that specialize in Clinical trials has given her the knowledge and experience in every department to follow a clear mission in Patient Care.
Elvia is a Clinical Research specialist with 16 years of experience. She began her research career as Clinical Research Assistant working in a verity of specialties within different research companies. After gaining the knowledge necessary, she became the Clinical Research Site Director at Del Sol, overseeing successful project management and provides overall supervision, mentorship and training to all operations staff.
