Hay muchas oportunidades para subvenciones federales. Una empresa pequena que desee solicitar una subvención debe resgistrarse en SAM.gov and Grants.gov , este proceso puede demorar hasta seis semanas, así que deben registrarse de manera pronta. Muchas de las subvenciones tiene fecha límite.

Necesitarán un número llamado Unique Entity ID Number (Número de Identificación de Entidad Única) para su negoció, y también se requiere su EIN (Employer Identification Number) conocido también número federal de identificación de impuestos.
